I don't think I can ever remember going to hospital for anything other than a simple x-ray. This experience was therefore totally different to anything that I had experienced in the past. I'd just like to say how impressed I was with the level of care in Kings Park Hospital Stirling; not once did I feel that the staff didn't have time for me. The food was excellent, and the rooms were nice too. I didn't get much sleep the night I was there, but I think that was more to do with me than the hospital itself. Anyway, I'm on the road to recovery now and I'd like to thank my Mum, my Dad and my brother for making it all possible Thanks!!!

Went out to Culross today (Google Maps) as I've seen some pretty nice pictures taken there. Certainly wasn't disappointing - there is a path within feet of the railway line and the scenery is lovely. Will be going back when the weather picks up; me, my Dad and my camera were absolutely soaked!!

Amazing things do happen. My very own mother now has her very own blog (www.ledcameroch.com), which she has even managed to use on her very own. Most impressive!
Went out on a drive this morning up towards Crianlarich, looking out for all the remnants of the old Callander and Oban railway that ran all the way from Callander (with a line to Dunblane) over Glen Ogle to Crianlarich and beyond to Oban. Only the latter half from Crianlarich onwards is still in use, but much of the disused section is now a cycle way. It must have been an absolutely beautiful journey - perhaps even besting my current favourite views on the west highland line.

Got a cool little gadget yesterday, for my phone - Sony Ericsson's HBH-DS970 Bluetooth stereo headset. I've got a K800i, and have been using it as my main portable mp3 player for the last few months. Having not been that impressed by the audio quality, I decided to do a little bit of research and found that this little headset has its own amplifier and DSP, so should provide better sound.

I am pleased to report that the audio quality is absolutely superb, full of volume and great bass. I love the controls for skipping tracks and pausing playback, and although I haven't taken a call on it yet, the caller ID function works great too.
