Tonight I am writing this post from an entirely different computer. As an experiment I'm trying to use a Mac as much as possible for the next few weeks, and I must say that after just a couple of days I already love the OS and the hardware. The Powerbook is an incredibly slick piece of kit, and the operating system is highly polished and just 'works'; something that Windows doesn't manage to do all the time!

My sister has had a baby girl!!!! Congratulations! In true Martin style I went out celebrating, and came back with the most enormous tab I've ever had. Still, it was worth it :-)

The thing that bothers me most about a failed Ebay transaction isn't the loss of money, but rather the feeling that (if it happens) the seller got away with the scam. It's sad to think that there are people out there like this, and that they keep doing it over and over again. And when you try and warn the governing body, they ignore you.

On a side note, has everyone voted?

For the first time in ages I find myself still up and chatting to friends at 2AM in the morning. Is life that desperate? No, I just enjoy doing it :-). Last night I had a really good time out in Glasgow city centre; a friend and I found a pretty expensive bar that serve lots of fancy cocktails, so we enjoyed a few not knowing what was in them!
